Our History
Exuberant Tropicals Nursery owner, Luis Hernandez grow up in the Caribbean surrounded by the beauty of tropical plants, the cool breeze of the Caribbean islands, and the Rain Forest in the north coast of the USA Commonweal Island of Puerto Rico. With a formal education in biology Luis move to the mainland, to Tennessee to pursuit a career in food manufacturing Quality Control. After many years working in the manufacturing field monitoring the quality for some of the most respected national brands in the country Luis decided to become a Master Gardener to pursuit his other passion, growing tropical plants. After realizing that the state of Florida has better environmental conditions than Tennessee to grow tropical plants Luis move to Florida to establish Exuberant Tropicals Nursery in 2015, a nursery dedicated to satisfy the demand for tropical fruit trees, palms, and foliage in the Tampa Bay area.
